Alchemy and the vegetable stone

The vegetable stone of alchemy was called lapis vegetabilis. Alchemy symbol the oak tree in alchemy. Alchemy of Steven School. The stone of the meadows is the vegetable stone in alchemy and this name seems to be more common in other countries like germany. It is a deep secret in alchemy which is symbolized by the oak tree and in my opinion this may unlock a large portion of ancient alchemical secrets in alchemy concerning the hidden manna, the alkahest, alchemical gemstones, and probably much more, perhaps even life extension spoken of in alchemical manuscripts from previous centuries. Alchemy and the Alkahest

Alchemist’s supposedly possessed a secret water, a universal dissolving liquid called alkahest that was said to be beneficial in creating alchemy gemstones which were theoretically colored by VITRIOL. Notice the similarity of the words alkahest, and alkaline. My research also indicates that some gemstones are made from corundum. Silica is said to dissolve in alkaline water. When silica is heated with carbon above 1700 degrees celsius it form carborundum. What is the difference between corundum and carborundum?

is that corundum is a extremely hard mineral, a form of aluminum oxide that occurs in the form of the gemstones sapphire and ruby. carborundum is crystals of silicon carbide used as an abrasive.

“Peacock Ore”, which is sold to amateur mineral collectors and tourists, is often labeled as a variety of Bornite. However, most Peacock Ore in reality is Chalcopyrite treated with acid, which produces a strongly colored iridescent tarnish.

The colours on these pretty rocks grows naturally in a very thin layer on the top of the rock. Peacock Ore is also known as Bornite – it’s a copper iron sulfide mineral commonly found in hydrothermal veins and contact metamorphic rocks which tarnishes to iridescent shades of blue, purple, green and gold.

The ore is very soft, with a hardness of three on the Moh’s hardness scale. This opaque rock has a beautiful metallic luster that is a result of the metallic elements within the ore.Peacock ore is very brittle and streaks a gray black color.

What is the difference between chalcopyrite and bornite?

Bornite commonly occurs with other copper sulphide minerals such as chalcocite and weathers, or “oxidizes”, to malachite. Chalcopyrite is the most common ore mineral for copper. Chalco comes from the Greek word chalko, meaning copper. Chalcopyrite is commonly found in sulphide deposits in most ore-forming environments.

Peacock Ore (Bornite) is a crystaline variety of Chalcopyrite and they have very similar properties. Bornite is the name of the natural, untreated stone, while Peacock Ore usually describes its heat-enhanced state. Bornite has naturally occuring rainbow colours, but they are rare in nature.

What does bornite look like?

Bornite has a brown to copper-red color on fresh surfaces that tarnishes to various iridescent shades of blue to purple in places. Its striking iridescence gives it the nickname peacock copper or peacock ore.

So, 2020 is here. The rainy days seem to be drawing closer to spring which is supposed to have importance in alchemy as some interpret from the mutus liber wordless picture book. I hope to resume some of my previous alchemy works this year such as working on trying to recreate the legendary alchemy powder of projection alchemists tried to turn lead into gold. As far as alchemy 2020 is concerned I also hope to resume alchemy work in regards to the lapis vegetabilis alchemy Philosopher’s stone which according to my understanding of alchemical writings attributed to the alchemist John Hollandus, might be associated with an “elixir of life” or even alchemical plant stones created with an alchemy process called spagyrics.

There is also the unresolved issue of what to do with the book of three words.

The Actum Leyden Alchemy Letter

The actum leyden alchemy letter is basically an alchemical manuscript depicting a secret alchemy process called the dew and salt method. It references alchemists working with dew and sea salt in a highly guarded secret alchemy recipe or formula. Some versions of the actum leyden alchemy letter also mention the use of gold chloride as well as silver chloride. Wrapping this ‘philosopher’s stone” in wax is also mentioned as well as melting it with gold to create what the letter calls “the projection powder”. Multiplication is also described as well as open/closed flask and heating instructions. I dare say i believe the ingredients listed in the actum leyden letter are probably code names substituted for other substances. Advanced crystal growing comes to mind.

With twin serpents i entwine, The four elements i combine,

First two, to make three, And then a fourth with glee,

Dissolve and coagulate, Thrice i propagate,

The elixir of life within a glass, This too shall come to pass,

The alchemist must find the secret key, To unlock nature’s mystery,

With nerves of steel, I spin the alchemical wheel,

 

The colors of the great work are shown, To those whose eyes have known,

To light the way, each night and day,

For sun and moon, We must swoon,

In the glass round and round, With doves of Diana it is ground,

Diana’s tree must I climb, Until it stands the test of time,

Come now uplift the glass, Nature’s last gate to pass,

Raining hellfire and brimstone, A victory over chaos is sewn.
