Ripley’s Bosom Book – Alchemy Manuscript

Bosom Book of Ripley – Alchemy Book on The Metal Acetate Path of Alchemy. https://amzn.to/3m3Od7F

Someone recently told me about an old alchemy manuscript called Ripley’s bosom book. I was told this is an alchemy book on The Metal Acetate Path of Alchemy regarding the philosopher’s stone. I have years of experience on philosopher’s stone research as well as hands on laboratory alchemy experiments. I have published books on the subject of alchemy and taken time to examine hieroglyphs, even studying root words related to alchemy history. I have pieced together the aspects of alchemy without having been through any mystery school, without ever being part of any secret society or organization. Finding peace and solitude in my own work has been key to contemplating the ancient hermetic science. Rare alchemy manuscripts have been like a jigsaw puzzle often offering more to the confusion of alchemy than to any basic understanding of the art. I began my official entrance into the physical aspect of practical alchemy experiments in 2008 after much contemplation over the years. It was the beginning of a journey that led me to begin publishing on alchemy around 2012. Since then i have been contacted by people from around the world in regards to my alchemy work and publications. I have videos of some of my alchemy experiments on YouTube. I did not write or publish Ripley’s Bosom Alchemy Book. I was recently told about it, gave it a read, and recognized the tell tale signs of alchemical experience in the authors words. The descriptions of the materials at different stages of the processes, colors of the great work. I have a deep understanding because of my own experience. Alchemical manuscripts or (laboratory notes) were often written in hurried fashion omitting tons of information since they were meant for the alchemist to remind himself of key points in his or her works as years roll by and things get forgotten. The alchemist could simply glance over his old notes to refresh his mind back to key points in old experiments. In modern alchemy we have video such as YouTube for this. From Ripley’s book on alchemy i can envision the different processes and paths that ancient alchemist’s leading up to the medieval renaissance period went through in their laboratory experiments, because i have years of experience in the metal acetate path of alchemy performing myriad experiments over more than a decade of time. The color changes described in the great work along with written descriptions of alchemical substances in Ripley’s book connects my mind from reading the words to seeing it. This brings me back to long lost words from the alchemist Theophrastus Paracelsus about though individual alchemists had their own methods they all led to the same end. Some alchemist’s wrote separate and purify alchemical elements to a high degree of purity, noting specific color changes to be seen, others wrote filter or separate nothing. Some wrote about their elaborate processes while others scoffed and touted the one vessel method of alchemy. This explains why there have been so many treatises written on alchemy processes, short paths, long paths, slow methods, abbreviations in the great work, the dry path of alchemy, the wet path of alchemy. Calcinations, Putrefactions, Distillations, Sublimations, Congelations, Coagulations, Fermentations, Incerations, Multiplications ETC. Paracelsus may have summed it up best, though alchemist’s differed in method, they worked toward the same end. This also explains the different colors assigned to ‘The Philosopher’s Stone”, differering alchemical methods led to a different appearances of finished products, also various stages of the great work affected the color changes in material. Transmutation powder described in old alchemy manuscripts on “Alchemy Transmutation Stories” such as that of Alexander Seton and Michael Sendivogius depicting a crystalline metallic powder, saffron in color and of considerable weight, oily or yellow in appearance depict the work of an adept alchemist master of the short path (ARS BREVIS) of alchemy. The difference between oily or lemon yellow depicts whether or not the alchemist material had been wrapped in wax or stored in another container. A white stone like wax, or even a red stone like red glass or red crystal, can depict a long slow path of alchemy in which the alchemist did extensive personal work with the materials, taking great lengths of time to complete their work, achieving a great level of purity in alchemical materials. Some alchemist’s shortened even this with the development of harsh acids which could dissolve ingredients faster. The original long slow wet method of alchemy, sometimes called “The ARS LONGA” in its original form, would take a long time to complete. Alchemist’s developed various methods, short cuts in the great work, and each of these was called “an abbreviation in the great work of alchemy” Article written by Steven School. What is the Secret of the Dry path of Alchemy?

‘The Blackness Hinders The Fusion” is a term come to mind from an old alchemy manuscript long forgotten and quoted from memory as the years have rolled by. The clouds rolling across the sky indicate that time moves on as the days change in the blink of an eye leaving only distant memories of the past. But one must know what is pure and what is impure before we can hope to pluck the rose. The path of alchemy is lined with thorns at every turn leading alchemists astray as they become lost in the labyrinth of alchemy. The black sun comes to mind, lighting the way through the darkness. “The sun turned black as sackcloth of hair and the moon became red as blood”. An old alchemy bible quote appears to unlock some of the secrets of Sol and Luna as they are cleansed and prepared for the hermetical wedding in the fountain of nature. #StevenSchoolAlchemy

NATURE begets a mineral in the bowels of the earth. There are two kinds of it, which are found in many districts of Europe. The best which has been offered to me, which also has been found genuine in experimentation, is externally in the figure of the greater world, and is in the eastern part of the sphere of the Sun. The other, in the Southern Star, is now in its first efflorescence. The bowels of the earth thrust this forth through its surface. It is found red in its first coagulation, and in it lie hid all the flowers and colours of the minerals. Much has been written about it by the philosophers, for it is of a cold and moist nature, and agrees with the element of water. Alchemy at a white stage video YouTube. In alchemy, the term albedo means whiteness and symbolizes purification through the washing away of impurities. The white phase of alchemy is said to be the second stage of the magnum opus. During the first phase of alchemy the matter is separated into two principles which later reunite to become one and this is called coagulation which completes the second stage of the magnum opus becomes white. Medieval alchemists developed an elaborate system of color coded images and symbols for alchemy with the white stone represented by a dove or the doves of Diana. Introduction to alchemy

What is alchemy?

Alchemy and the Stone of the Meadows

Alchemy Triple Feature Elixir of Life- Sulfur of the Sun- Philosopher’s Stone by Steven School

Alchemy has been known since ancient times and consists of three basic realms or kingdoms which are known as plant, animal and mineral. Each of these three primary areas of hermetic alchemy is said to have a basic stone associated with it. These stones are sometimes referred to as philosopher’s stones. Lapis animalis, Lapis vegetabilis and Lapis mineralis are but a few of the alchemical names that have been associated with these alchemy stones. Below the basic vegetable stone lie various herbal tinctures alchemically prepared with materials from the plant realm. The word VITRIOL is common in alchemy and seems to be associated with The term visit the interior of the earth and by rectification find the occult lapis. There however is more than one type of “earth” encountered in alchemy. As concerns the realm of the metals alchemists usually chose a metallic ore or metal specimen of some type and then worked upon it with a liquid dissolving agent of which there were three main types. In ancient alchemy as depicted in the actum leyden letter and some writings attributed to the alchemist Friederich Gualdus, a seawater menstuum is alluded to involving water from the sea processed in different ways for purification and strength, sometimes modified by adding sea salt to vinegar and this was supposed to resolve metals back into their first matter and theoretically make them start growing again as living crystals. Vinegar later became the focus of metal acetate paths in alchemy which eventually gave way to acids. Acid and metal to burn off impurities, dissolve and coagulate into something called vitriol. These coincide with the seven planetary metals in alchemy which after being alchemically processed might be reduced into “stones” called vitriol. Alchemy gemstones hypothically speaking could have been based on such things as carbon, silica, and even vitriol made from metals or minerals. Alchemists were rumored to have an alkahest or universal dissolving agent to assist this process with the old axiom “solve et coagula” or dissolve and coagulate.

Alchemy and the vegetable stone

The vegetable stone of alchemy was called lapis vegetabilis. Alchemy symbol the oak tree in alchemy. Alchemy of Steven School. The stone of the meadows is the vegetable stone in alchemy and this name seems to be more common in other countries like germany. It is a deep secret in alchemy which is symbolized by the oak tree and in my opinion this may unlock a large portion of ancient alchemical secrets in alchemy concerning the hidden manna, the alkahest, alchemical gemstones, and probably much more, perhaps even life extension spoken of in alchemical manuscripts from previous centuries. The emerald tablet of thoth hermes says the wind hath carried it in its belly which means water as the sophic mercury. The earth is its nurse as it putrefies or ferments becoming the manna from heaven or gur. This material is collected in spring as the sal petrae salt stone or a white salt or white stone. The philosophical sulfur is locked within the oak tree and is released by water and fire exodus 32:20 Moses and the golden calf. Moses burned the “gold” in the fire and scattered it upon the water. Filtration of this material reveals the sulfur element which is an alchemical sun, sulfur of the sun, the citrine mercury of Nicholas Flamel which is then joined to the white salt through the sophic mercury (water) to reveal a blood red stone. See the writings of Nicholas Flamel in his letter to his nephew, you must know by what agent your “mercury” is to be fortified with or it will be as common water. The alkahest or secret dissolving water is the water and ashes before filtration as it is alkaline yet caustic and theoretically used to dissolve silica for ancient alchemical synthetic gemstones or alchemy gemstones which hypothetically receive their color from decomposed or alchemical processed metals. Alchemy and the Alkahest

Alchemist’s supposedly possessed a secret water, a universal dissolving liquid called alkahest that was said to be beneficial in creating alchemy gemstones which were theoretically colored by VITRIOL. Notice the similarity of the words alkahest, and alkaline. My research also indicates that some gemstones are made from corundum. Silica is said to dissolve in alkaline water. When silica is heated with carbon above 1700 degrees celsius it form carborundum. What is the difference between corundum and carborundum?

the difference between corundum and carborundum

is that corundum is a extremely hard mineral, a form of aluminum oxide that occurs in the form of the gemstones sapphire and ruby. carborundum is crystals of silicon carbide used as an abrasive.

Blue vitriol is a water soluble crystalline salt of copper. Toxic.  It is used in insecticides and germicides, in electrolytes for batteries, and in electroplating baths. Oil of vitriol is said to be blue in liquid form but dries to a white salt. I am not highlighting scientific blue vitriol, this is the alchemical version of blue vitriol.
