Ripley’s Bosom Book – Alchemy Manuscript

Bosom Book of Ripley – Alchemy Book on The Metal Acetate Path of Alchemy. https://amzn.to/3m3Od7F

Someone recently told me about an old alchemy manuscript called Ripley’s bosom book. I was told this is an alchemy book on The Metal Acetate Path of Alchemy regarding the philosopher’s stone. I have years of experience on philosopher’s stone research as well as hands on laboratory alchemy experiments. I have published books on the subject of alchemy and taken time to examine hieroglyphs, even studying root words related to alchemy history. I have pieced together the aspects of alchemy without having been through any mystery school, without ever being part of any secret society or organization. Finding peace and solitude in my own work has been key to contemplating the ancient hermetic science. Rare alchemy manuscripts have been like a jigsaw puzzle often offering more to the confusion of alchemy than to any basic understanding of the art. I began my official entrance into the physical aspect of practical alchemy experiments in 2008 after much contemplation over the years. It was the beginning of a journey that led me to begin publishing on alchemy around 2012. Since then i have been contacted by people from around the world in regards to my alchemy work and publications. I have videos of some of my alchemy experiments on YouTube. I did not write or publish Ripley’s Bosom Alchemy Book. I was recently told about it, gave it a read, and recognized the tell tale signs of alchemical experience in the authors words. The descriptions of the materials at different stages of the processes, colors of the great work. I have a deep understanding because of my own experience. Alchemical manuscripts or (laboratory notes) were often written in hurried fashion omitting tons of information since they were meant for the alchemist to remind himself of key points in his or her works as years roll by and things get forgotten. The alchemist could simply glance over his old notes to refresh his mind back to key points in old experiments. In modern alchemy we have video such as YouTube for this. From Ripley’s book on alchemy i can envision the different processes and paths that ancient alchemist’s leading up to the medieval renaissance period went through in their laboratory experiments, because i have years of experience in the metal acetate path of alchemy performing myriad experiments over more than a decade of time. The color changes described in the great work along with written descriptions of alchemical substances in Ripley’s book connects my mind from reading the words to seeing it. This brings me back to long lost words from the alchemist Theophrastus Paracelsus about though individual alchemists had their own methods they all led to the same end. Some alchemist’s wrote separate and purify alchemical elements to a high degree of purity, noting specific color changes to be seen, others wrote filter or separate nothing. Some wrote about their elaborate processes while others scoffed and touted the one vessel method of alchemy. This explains why there have been so many treatises written on alchemy processes, short paths, long paths, slow methods, abbreviations in the great work, the dry path of alchemy, the wet path of alchemy. Calcinations, Putrefactions, Distillations, Sublimations, Congelations, Coagulations, Fermentations, Incerations, Multiplications ETC. Paracelsus may have summed it up best, though alchemist’s differed in method, they worked toward the same end. This also explains the different colors assigned to ‘The Philosopher’s Stone”, differering alchemical methods led to a different appearances of finished products, also various stages of the great work affected the color changes in material. Transmutation powder described in old alchemy manuscripts on “Alchemy Transmutation Stories” such as that of Alexander Seton and Michael Sendivogius depicting a crystalline metallic powder, saffron in color and of considerable weight, oily or yellow in appearance depict the work of an adept alchemist master of the short path (ARS BREVIS) of alchemy. The difference between oily or lemon yellow depicts whether or not the alchemist material had been wrapped in wax or stored in another container. A white stone like wax, or even a red stone like red glass or red crystal, can depict a long slow path of alchemy in which the alchemist did extensive personal work with the materials, taking great lengths of time to complete their work, achieving a great level of purity in alchemical materials. Some alchemist’s shortened even this with the development of harsh acids which could dissolve ingredients faster. The original long slow wet method of alchemy, sometimes called “The ARS LONGA” in its original form, would take a long time to complete. Alchemist’s developed various methods, short cuts in the great work, and each of these was called “an abbreviation in the great work of alchemy” Article written by Steven School. The Philosopher’s Stone Riddle by Steven School, Alchemist.

the philosopher's stone riddle

The Philosopher’s Stone Riddle.

With twin serpents i entwine, The four elements i combine,

First two, to make three, And then a fourth with glee,

Dissolve and coagulate, Thrice i propagate,

The elixir of life within a glass, This too shall come to pass,

The alchemist must find the secret key, To unlock nature’s mystery,

With nerves of steel, I spin the alchemical wheel,

The colors of the great work are shown, To those whose eyes have known,

To light the way, each night and day,

For sun and moon, We must swoon,

In the glass round and round, With doves of Diana it is ground,

Diana’s tree must I climb, Until it stands the test of time,

Come now uplift the glass, Nature’s last gate to pass,

Raining hellfire and brimstone, A victory over chaos is sewn.

Elixir of life Wikipedia

The elixir of life, also known as elixir of immortality and sometimes equated with the name philosopher’s stone, is a potion that supposedly grants the drinker eternal life and/or eternal youth. This elixir was also said to cure all diseases. Alchemists in various ages and cultures sought the means of formulating the elixir.

Is There A Secret Elixir Of Life Hidden in The Bible?

Elixir Of Life Alchemy:

Exodus 32:20

New International Version
And he took the calf the people had made and burned it in the fire; then he ground it to powder, scattered it on the water and made the Israelites drink it.

Elixir of life drink

The elixir of life was also called aqua vitae water of life and potable gold. Drinkable gold elixir of life drink historic gold based elixirs. Alchemists called this “our gold” and not common gold.

The bible alleges to promise eternal life to those who can unlock its mystery which has been shrouded in secrecy throughout the sands of time. The garden of Eden is said to be guarded by a flaming sword which points in all directions protecting the path to the tree of knowledge and the tree of life. PROVERBS 3:16

Blessed is he who finds wisdom. She is more precious than jewels.Nothing you desire compares with her. Long life is in her right hand. In her left hand are riches and honor. All her ways are pleasant. And all her paths are peace. Most people know that alchemy comprised three realms or kingdoms, plant, animal, and mineral. It is well known that alchemical elixirs were part of plant alchemy called spagyrics. The elixir of life was also called aqua vitae, aurum potable, elixir of immortality, the golden soma, etc. Plants are not iron oxide. Plants do not rust in my opinion. What is the philosopher’s stone made from? Alchemy

Years ago while doing extensive internet research regarding alchemy and the philosopher’s stone I came across a tidbit that one of the old alchemists (I forgot which one) had made his philosopher’s stone in a previous century from iron pyrite.

The following is alchemy of Steven School. Do not try this at home. Not for consumption. This blog post does not constitute advice of any type nor is it intended for any specific person. No warranty is expressed or implied as to the accuracy or completeness of any information presented here.

Article written by Steven School.

I had already been contemplating this mineral iron pyrite as perhaps the philosopher’s stone of alchemy and I feel there are many supporting factors which made this a good candidate to fill the question what is the philosopher’s stone made from? Since then I have performed numerous alchemy experiments on iron pyrite in attempt to recreate the philosopher’s stone of alchemy. I found many things in the pyrite. One of my experiments went as follows, I ground iron pyrite in a mortar and pestle before placing it in a large glass pickle jar. I added mostly white vinegar from Wal Mart and a little hydrogen peroxide. I loosely covered the top with saran wrap to keep the dust out but if pressure arose it could find vent before breaking the glass. The vinegar became yellow like golden water. I poured this off into a large vision ware bowl to evaporate outdoors on an electric hot plate set on low. I repeated the extractions on the iron pyrite and kept adding it to the evaporation pot. When the matter became like a green gum I thought this is the green lion from alchemy. I carefully finished drying it in warm sunlight to avoid burning the green stuff. I scraped the dry acetate? Into a borosilicate retort and distilled it on low heat. It turned black which is supposed to be a good sign in alchemy. It’s supposed to be the first color change seen in the creation of the philosopher’s stone during the great work of the Magnum opus. A clear liquid came over the helm which I placed in a borosilicate round flask. I added a small gold nugget which I had pounded flat and thin with a hammer before washing it. I stoppled the flask close  with a ground glass stopper and placed it in a sand bath gradually increasing the heat. The stopper popped out a few times from the mounting pressure but I put it back in. I had to get the heat hot which seemed to help. The secret metallic water of Alchemy seemed to be dissolving the gold. A red glass like stone formed in my flask which is on the cover of my book alchemy survival guide by Steven School.

Alchemical symbolism regarding the creation of the philosopher’s stone of alchemy dry path

VITRIOL visit the interior of the earth and there by rectification find the occult lapis. The rebis or two thing depicts the alchemical hermaphrodite. A wedding of the sun and moon. Ancient alchemists such as Rhasis and Hermes (from the pyramids) used to write he who unites the male to the female draws forth the hidden virtue. Pyramid means fire in the middle. Sal non tingit is an old Latin alchemy term which meant the salt does not tinge unless it be tinged. The saffron colored material was also called the fire salt and the fire lizard among other things. The image depicts the process and ingredients of the philosopher’s stone creation in condensed alchemical symbolism. Many alchemists wrote the secret process of the magnum opus was very difficult for outsiders to figure out even if the ingredients were known. The philosopher’s stone of alchemy was said to have been wrapped in wax as the final and necessary step in the creation of the lapis philosophorum. Nicholas Flamel Versus Michael Sendivogius On The Dry Path Of Alchemy

Here we will compare the alchemical writings of Nicholas Flamel against those of Michael Sendivogius as if the two were doing battle in the creation of the philosopher’s stone or the transmutation powder of alchemy. YouTube Video is the work of Steven School, Alchemist. Do Not Try This At Home. Not For Human Consumption.

Let us begin this battle of the sages with alchemical writings attributed to Nicholas Flamel.

I Nicholas Flamel am seized with a desire to write out the whole magistery of the secret of the Powder of Projection, or the Philosophical Tincture, which God hath willed to impart to his very insignificant servant, and which I have found out, as thou also wilt find out in working as I shall declare unto you. . Take thou in the first place the eldest or first-born child of Saturn, not the vulgar, 9 parts; of the sabre chalibs of the God of War, 4 parts. Put this latter into a crucible, and when it comes to a melting redness, cast therein the 9 parts of Saturn, and immediately this will redden the other. Some believe they have the whole magistery, when they have the heavenly Mercury prepared; but they are grossly deceived. It is for this cause they find thorns before they pluck the rose, for want of understanding. It is true indeed, that were they to understand the weight, the regimen of the fire, and the suitable way, they would not have much to do, and could not fail even if they would. But in this art there is a way to work. Learn therefore and observe well how to operate, in the manner I am about to relate to you. Take this white or red sulphur, triturate it in a glass or marble mortar, and pour on it, in sprinking it, a third part of its weight of the Mercury from which this sulphur has been drawn. put again this mixture into an oval glass; place it in a furnace on a suitable fire. Concoct until the said Mercury is changed into sulphur, and during this coction, thou wilt see wonderful things in thy vessel, that is to say, all the colours which exist in the world, which thou canst not behold without lifting up thy heart to God in gratitude for so great a gift. When thou has attained to the purple red, thou must gather it: for then the alchymical powder is made, transmuting every metal into fine pure and neat gold, which thou maist multiply by watering it as thou hast already done, grinding it with fresh “Mercury”, concocting it in the same vessel, furnace and fire, and the time will be much shorter, and its virtue ten times stronger. This then is the whole magistery done with “Mercury” alone, which some do not believe to be true, because they are weak and stupid, and not at all able to comprehend this work. the matter will pass through all the colours, the black, the ash colour, the blue, the green, the white, the orange, and finally the red as red as blood or the crimson poppy: aim only at this last colour; for it is the true sulphur, and the alchymical powder. If thou are disposed to multiply thy powder, take one part thereof, and water it with two parts of thy animated Mercury; make it into a soft and smooth paste; put it in a vessel as thou hast already done, in the same furnace and fire, and concoct it. This second turn of the philosophic wheel will be done in less time than the first, and thy powder will have ten times more strength. Let is wheel about again even a thousand times, and as much as thou wilt. Thou wilt then have a treasure without price, superior to all there is in the world, and thou canst desire nothing more here below, for thou hast both health and riches, if thou useth them properly. Sendivogius New Chemical Light

And now, it is Michaels turn to spin thy alchemical wheel.

Our science is not a dream, as the vulgar crowd imagines, or the empty invention of idle men, as the foolish suppose, consider that this mystery is for wise men, and not for fools. Regulate the heat judiciously, until there appear colors like those of the Peacock’s Tail, and then continue to apply this well-regulated heat until the colors resolve themselves into a glorious purple followed by a final, fixed red.
