Legends say he who knows the secret of the regimen of the alchemical fire knows the secrets of that which has been kept hidden from the world. Alchemists believe that after years or even decades of study, God bestows this secret knowledge upon whom he will, along with a warning not to cast pearls before swine. Idolators of cheap thrills are often said to have no place in alchemy. Some alchemist’s spend years of their life working on resolving and understanding these key points of the hermetic science.
